A dancer and a drummer fall in love while touring on a Broadway production — meet Megan and Louis.
I had the pleasure of being a small part of this couple’s extended journey to get married. It began in late summer 2019, when I photographed their engagement photos. The original wedding date was scheduled for July 2020, but like many couples during that first year of the pandemic, they decided to postpone it with hopes of being able to share their special day with loved ones in the near future. Initially, they decided on April 2021, but the ebbs and flows of the pandemic pushed the date to May 29th, 2021, when they opted for a small gathering — just the ceremony — with plans to schedule a full wedding for the following year. That day occurred last month May 29th, 2022, and the photos I share here document the final installment of this journey, marking the beginning of a new lifelong journey as husband and wife.
They are both wonderful people and I couldn’t be happier for a couple than I am for Megan and Louis. I feel deeply fortunate to have captured the obvious love and joy that they have for one another, along the way.
