One of my favorite things about being a documentary photographer is capturing families. I aim for those in-between moments, often marked by gesture and movement. Although it’s been said many times, we see the world differently by observing children. Their presence helps to slow us down.
During this photo session, a summertime stroll with my friend Dominique and her family, a brief rain shower occurred. The rain drops offered an added level of ambiance and source of wonderment.
