Laurie Rhodes is an award-winning photographer specializing in documentary weddings, lifestyle family portraiture and art photography focusing on climate change. After building an eighteen-year career in the entertainment industry she trained at International Center of Photography and began working as a photographer.

PEACE THROUGH PLAYSCHOOL – A nursery school in Rockland Country with a mission of teaching peace through yoga and play commissioned Laurie to document the day-to-day activities of the children. A calendar was produced from the images for the school’s fundraising efforts.
Laurie has participated in group exhibits at International Center of Photography, Trinity Church Museum, Christie Street Gallery, Montauk Library, and the Islip Art Museum, among others.
Taught photography in the New York Public School System and taught art to young people in a summer art program.
