This installment is one of several “…stories of inspiring individuals who are harnessing innovation and inspiring us all to invest in greater possibilities together.” Here, the story focuses on a teen from Philadelphia, Trey Brown, and his streetwear clothing line, Spergo. The photos feature Trey, his family, friends and mentors.

Good Times in Fort Tryon Park at New Leaf Restaurant

If you’ve followed my blog over the last few years, you may remember other posts with photos from the New Leaf Restaurant. Many longtime New Yorkers are unaware the venue even exists.

Just steps from The Cloisters museum and gardens, surrounded by majestic trees, this spectacular fieldstone cottage was built by John D. Rockefeller in the 1930s. With an outdoor patio that is covered during the colder months, it offers a one-of-a-kind experience for locals and tourists alike. It’s open to the public on a weekly basis as a fine-dining restaurant and it’s also available for special events such as the one featured here in these photos.

Early every morning, I found myself by the Malecón — the iconic esplanade that stretches along Havana’s coastline — addicted to capturing glimpses of the people as they whirled by in various transportation vehicles and on foot.

Annual Green Table Farm’s Tour and Picnic

Mary Cleaver, owner of Cleaver Co. (catering), The Green Table, and Table Green Cafe, hosts an annual farm tour and picnic for her colleagues at the Green Table Farm, situated in the beautiful landscape of Washington County. The day was filled with picking vegetables, prepping and cooking the farm fresh food, taking hayrides to see the chickens and wild turkeys, and competing in a marathon wiffle ball tournament. Ashley pulled three frames from his bee hives and harvested the most delicious honey for all to take home!
